TOWARD LIM COLLEGE

Congratulations, you have been accepted into LIM College’s Graduate program. Once you have accepted our offer of admission, you will need to take the necessary steps to secure your place in class. All the information you need is included below. Please read through each section carefully.

New Graduate Student Orientation: Monday, August 21 (afternoon activities)

International Student Orientation: Thursday, August 24 (afternoon activities)

SECURE YOUR SEAT IN CLASS

If you plan to attend LIM College, your first step is to pay the $500 tuition deposit and complete the Graduate Tuition Agreement Form.

You may pay your enrollment deposit by debit, credit, or e-check at the Applicant Status Page. If you pay online, you must submit your Tuition Agreement Form to the Office of Student Financial Services separately.

LIM College accepts check, cash or money order for tuition payments. If you have any questions on payments, please contact our Office of Student Accounts for details.

ARRANGE FOR HOUSING

LIM College welcomes you to live in our state-of-the-art luxury Residence Hall. If you choose to live in the LIM College Residence Hall, you must make housing arrangements through the Office of Residence Life. Housing applications are available online or by paper.

In order to apply for housing, you must first submit your enrollment deposit. You can pay your enrollment deposit here.

Please note, the housing application for students that were admitted for fall 2017 will be available soon. We will alert you via email when available.

COMPLETE IMMUNIZATIONS

In accordance with New York State Law, all students must have immunization records on file at LIM College in order to attend classes. Have your physician complete the form and submit it to the attention of the Office of Counseling & Accessibility Services.

Please note, you are not be able to register for classes until a completed Immunization Form is on file at LIM College.

APPLY FOR FINANCIAL AID

LIM College recommends that all students apply for financial aid. Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to determine your eligibility.

FAFSA priority Filing Deadline for Fall 2017 Applicants

March 1, 2017

Applications are accepted after the priority deadline, but funds may be limited.

Refer to tuition and fees at LIM College for more information.

OBTAIN HEALTH INSURANCE

LIM College requires health insurance coverage for students and a charge for health insurance is automatically applied to your account for coverage through Gallagher Koster. To learn more about health insurance through LIM College, please visit the Office of Student Financial Services. For students who currently have health insurance, you may waive the automatic health insurance charge by providing proof of coverage.

The Office of Student Financial Services can assist you with general questions about health insurance and how to submit the insurance waiver. Visit www.gallagherkoster.com/LIM for information on plan benefits, prescription drug coverage, finding a doctor and how to submit a claim.

SEND FINAL TRANSCRIPTS

LIM College must receive your official final college and university transcript with proof of undergraduate degree received. Photocopies are not accepted.

GET CONNECTED

LIM College provides you an email account a few weeks after enrolling. Begin using your LIM College email account immediately for updates and important orientation and course information. We will try our best to continue to send all important information to your personal email accounts. If you have any problems with your email account you should contact the IT Help Desk at (212) 752-1530 ext. 390 or by email.

PURCHASE BOOKS

Once you have completed your schedule, you can purchase or rent textbooks online or in the bookstore. Also available in the bookstore are course materials, clothing, apparel, T-shirts, and supplies

Move-In

Move-in for new fall 2017 graduate domestic students is Sunday, August 20.
