Congratulations on your acceptance and decision to attend LIM College.

Spring 2016 Graduate Orientation (GO) will be held Monday, August 22 to August 25 and begins on August 22 at (time is to be decided) at FashionOpolis (ground floor) at The Townhouse (12 East 53rd St.). International graduate students must also attend International Student Orientation (ISO) from August 17-19, 2016

Each semester, new graduate students joining the LIM College community have the opportunity to explore, connect and experience all that LIM College has to offer.

GO at LIM College is designed to introduce you to the college and graduate communities and the broad range of resources and services available to support your academic, co-curricular, and extra-curricular success. Current graduate students, faculty and staff will introduce you to LIM College with engaging presentations on such topics as student services and support, graduate academic expectations, e-learning. There will also be an opportunity to mix and mingle with recent alumni.

Additionally, all international students should plan to fully participate in the International Student Orientation component (August 17-19) of the program as mandatory immigration document review and presentation sessions take place.   

Mandatory New Student Check-In 

Federal regulations require that F-1 and J-1 newly-admitted international F-1 and J-1 students must report to the Coordinator of International Student Services (Kate.Levy@limcollege.edu) to confirm arrival on LIM's campus for required government reporting and important immigration regulations and procedures required of F-1 and J-1 students. At the Mandatory International New Student Check-In:

  • You will meet Kate Levy, Coordinator of International Student Services
  • Questions about International Student Orientation and travel documents will be answered
  • Questions about life at LIM College will be answered
  • Questions about Graduate Orientation, including the International Student Orientation components will be answered
