LIM’s password management system manages the step-by-step process for activating, updating, and resetting of one's LIM NetID computer account and passwords. The guides below will walk you through steps for: (1) setting up your NetID account using personal mobile device and email account; (2) steps on how to update your personal information; (3) steps on how to change your NetID password; (4) ways to reset your password if you have forgotten it.
Guides include:
- Set-up Password Recovery Information – I am a new student, faculty, or staff member. I need to register my personal mobile device and email in the event I need to reset my NetID password, or I forgot my password.
- Update Your Security Verification Information – I wish to change my personal email or mobile number, in the event I need to change or reset my NetID password.
- Change Your LIM NetID Password – I want to change my password based on best practices, someone knows my password and I need to change it, etc.
- Reset Your LIM NetID Password If You Have Forgotten It – I cannot remember my NetID password, and I need to reset it using my mobile device.
Canvas is a user-friendly online course management system that is available 24/7. Through Canvas, instructors can post syllabi, readings, and assignments as well as communicate via email, virtual chats, or discussion boards. Canvas can also be used for course announcements and calendars, online quizzes, surveys, exams, and group work.
Canvas support is available 24/7. Users can contact Canvas Support through the "Help" menu in Canvas Global Navigation or call 1 (646) 218-2190.
The Adrian G. Marcuse Library is equipped with a wide selection of databases to help students with their research. Only current students, staff, and faculty are able to access library databases. Therefore, to access databases from off campus, you need to authenticate yourself using MyLIM.
Handshake is the online job and internship platform available to LIM College students and alumni.
SONIS is LIM College’s student information system. This system is used by students, staff, and faculty to register for classes, post and receive grades and more.
WCOnline is the scheduling system for math, writing, and graphic design assistance, offered through the Academic Resource Center. You can schedule your appointments online.
This is a software distribution website that allows LIM students, faculty, and staff to purchase software at significant discounts on standard retail prices.
