LIM Fashion Academy is a comprehensive pre-college program. With weeklong non-credit courses offered in person and virtually, participants can study fashion at the college level, experience New York City, and get a taste of life at LIM.

Fashion Merchandising - From Concept to Look Book

Are you interested in starting your own fashion collection and learning how to promote it? 

​From trend forecasting to creating color palettes to producing garments, this workshop will explore the role of a fashion merchandiser and how they build and market a brand. 

Industry field trips may be included.

Fashion Styling

On Campus

Working with a celebrity stylist, you will learn about the daily tasks involved in fashion styling. You will also brainstorm a fashion campaign and pull outfits and style looks for a photoshoot with a professional photographer, makeup artist, and hair stylist. Industry field trips may be included.

Virtual

Working with a celebrity stylist, you will learn about the daily tasks involved in fashion styling and will create a digital presentation to showcase your concept for a fashion photoshoot and editorial spread.

Fashion Career Boot Camp

What is your dream career? 

This "boot camp" course focuses on exploring the many fashion career paths available, and provides you with information and skills to help get your dream job. 

Working with career coaches, you will make a career dream board, create a resume, and develop and present your personal pitch. 

This class is great preparation for college applications, internships, and job interviews!

What is the refund/withdrawal policy?

Course withdrawal and refund of course fee requests must be made in writing via email to fashionacademy@limcollege.edu.

The date of the written request is considered the official date of the student’s withdrawal. A $25 processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount. All refunds are made electronically and take up to two weeks for processing. In the event LIM College cancels a course, 100% of the tuition and fees will be refunded. For withdrawals made at least a week prior to the first day a course begins, 100% of the tuition will be refunded, minus the $25 processing fee. For withdrawals made less than a week prior to the start of the course, 50% of the tuition will be refunded, minus the $25 processing fee.

NO refunds will be given after the start of class.
