Taking it to “The Edge…”

On Saturday, Feb 27, I had the most successful RA event I’ve had this entire year! A total of 13 people showed up and they enjoyed every bit of it.

Jesly Cruz graduated in 2022 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Fashion Marketing. She was a Resident Advisor and a Student Worker in LIM’s Office of Student Life. 

The day started at 1:15 p.m. in the lobby of the New Yorker residence. My residents and I walked all the way to Hudson Yards. We were all a bit scared of what was going to happen with the weather, since it was a gloomy day.

We made it to The Edge NYC at 2:00 p.m. and everyone was shocked at the height of the building. It was windy and cloudy, but kind of fun to have the wind push you around and the clouds made it feel like we were in the sky.

An hour later, the sky cleared up and we got to enjoy some sun.

All of the residents/students said they really enjoyed the event and hoped for more similar ones in the future!
