From Nov. 16-19, LIM College will hold its first “Entrepreneurship Week,” offering a forum for student innovators to network with and learn from those who have brought their own cutting-edge ideas to life in the business of fashion and fields beyond.
This four-day series of virtual panel discussions and Q&A is in direct response to industry changes and new market opportunities accelerated by COVID-19, which have led to an increase in entrepreneurial interest among LIM students.
Recognizing a growing shift in students’ needs and career goals, members of the College’s Fashion Industry Advisory Board put this series together and it’s been integrated into the students’ formal career and internship coursework.
Entrepreneurship Week panelists include a number of LIM alumni who are blazing their own paths in areas all over the business map, ranging from celebrity PR and personal protective equipment to events marketing and vegan catering.
