Foundation Scholarships
Founded in 1977, the LIM Fashion Education Foundation (LIMFEF) has, as its primary purpose, the provision of scholarships and educational enhancements in support of students who wish to attend LIM College. A 501(c) (3) non-profit organization, the Foundation is separate and distinct entity from LIM College with it’s own Board of Directors that has awarded over $2 million in scholarships to talented and deserving LIM College students since it’s inception.
Continuing LIM College full-time undergraduate students (both on-campus and online division) who have been enrolled for at least one semester are eligible to apply each spring term for the upcoming academic year. The LIMFEF Scholarship Application requires a 350-word essay, response to short answer Q’s, two letters of recommendation, and submission of a FAFSA to LIM College (for need-based scholarships only). The online application also requires that students authorize the release of academic information (GPA and academic standing) and FAFSA data (if applicable) from LIM College to the LIMFEF.
