With four additional $10,000 scholarships recently announced, Licensing International has now awarded a total of $95,000 in scholarships to undergraduate and graduate LIM students in 2023.
Licensing International’s Scholarship program, (applications will be open until Jan. 26, 2024) grants awards to individuals who are interested in pursuing a career in brand licensing and are pursuing degrees in business, e-commerce, marketing, design, engineering, entrepreneurial studies, and other fields related to brand licensing.
Applicants are required to have a 3.2 GPA, write a 600-word essay, and submit two letters of recommendation. The Licensing International Scholarship Committee selects recipients based on factors that include academic achievement, participation in school and community activities, and work experience. Top candidates are interviewed before final winners are chosen.
Scholarship recipients are also given a complimentary one-year membership to Licensing International. This affords students multiple pathways for actively participating in the organization, including committee membership, writing articles for publications, and volunteering at events.
Below are the four students who each received $10,000 scholarships from Licensing International this December.
