Moore is an industry titan who’s collaborated with the world’s top-tier photographers, designers, and celebrities to produce cutting-edge work and shape decades of men’s fashion. In 2019, he released Hunks & Heroes: Four Decades of Fashion at GQ, a book looking back at his iconic career that’s been described as an “epic journey into the world of men’s style.”

Shaw collaborated with Moore to produce Hunks & Heroes. He is also Visuals Editor for The World of Interiors and oversees the Condé Nast Archive, one of the world's largest and most important archives of fashion photography. Shaw served as Executive Photography Director of Vogue from 1996-2016.

Moore is a member of the Board of the LIM Fashion Education Foundation (FEF), which provides scholarships to LIM students with significant financial need. Moore’s visit is the first in a series of masterclasses and guest lectures this semester from FEF Board members.

During his presentation, the Minnesota-born Moore recalled meeting LIM students at an FEF event last year and noted they, “made me think of myself at that age.”

Following the masterclass, Moore met with a group of editors and directors from LIM’s student-run publication, The Lexington Line, providing an incredible opportunity for the students to learn directly from a fashion legend.
