How did you learn about LIM College?
I first heard about LIM during my research into top fashion business schools. I found it through online resources and spoke with alumni who recommended it for its strong focus on the fashion business and industry connections.

What made you choose LIM for your master’s degree?
I chose LIM College because of its STEM-designated Fashion Marketing program and its emphasis on practical, real-world experiences. The curriculum offered a perfect blend of fashion marketing and digital media, which aligned with my career goals.

What are you learning in the MPS in Fashion Marketing program?
I am learning about digital marketing strategies, brand management, and data analytics in the fashion industry. The assignments are very hands-on, such as developing marketing plans, analyzing case studies, and working on group projects that simulate real-world marketing challenges.

Any favorite classes or professors?
One of my favorite classes is Digital Marketing in the Fashion Industry, where I get to develop a comprehensive marketing plan for a real PR agency.

What is it like being an international student here at LIM?
It is exciting and challenging. The diverse student body has allowed me to meet people from different cultures, which enriches my learning experience. The professors are very supportive, and the curriculum is designed to help us succeed in a global fashion market.

What’s it like to study the fashion business in New York?
Studying in New York has been an incredible experience! The city’s vibrant fashion scene and constant access to events, exhibitions, and networking opportunities are invaluable. It gives me a real-time perspective on fashion trends and industry shifts, which I believe is essential for a successful career in fashion marketing.

What is your career goal? How is LIM helping you work towards it?
My professional goal is to become a PR and marketing strategist for a luxury fashion brand. LIM is helping me achieve this by providing me with in-depth knowledge of marketing strategies and creating an environment that fosters networking with industry professionals.

Have you been able to intern in the U.S. as part of your LIM program?
Yes, I am currently interning with DOORS NYC, a luxury fashion PR agency and showroom. This internship allows me to apply the marketing strategies and PR knowledge I’ve learned in class to real-world scenarios, such as assisting in campaign management and developing social media content for emerging designers.

What advice would you give to someone who is considering coming to LIM College for a master’s degree?
I would advise them to take full advantage of LIM’s career services and connections in the industry. It’s important to be proactive in internships and networking. LIM provides plenty of opportunities and events, but it’s up to you to make the most of them!

My experience at LIM College has been transformative. The combination of a rigorous curriculum, a diverse student body, and the chance to experience fashion in one of the world’s fashion capitals has shaped my career aspirations and prepared me for the challenges of the fashion industry.
