New 39-credit degree program is STEM-designated and can be completed in two years.

LIM College is launching a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree program in Luxury Brand Management, with the inaugural class slated to enter in Fall 2025.

Taught by industry professional faculty, LIM’s MBA in Luxury Brand Management will teach students how to navigate the current digital landscape and use data-driven insights to inform the strategic decisions necessary for building and maintaining luxury brands.

Specializations in Consumer Analytics, Sustainability in Fashion, and Buying and Merchandising will be offered within the program, allowing students to tailor their education to their specific career goals and interests.

This on-campus degree program can be completed in two years and is STEM-designated. STEM-designated programs are of interest to international students because they provide the opportunity to apply for extended Optional Practical Training (OPT), which can add an additional 24 months of eligibility to work in their field of study in the U.S. along with the ability to apply for Curricular Practical Training (CPT) in the first semester.

LIM’s MBA program curriculum takes a transdisciplinary approach, blending digital technology, luxury management, marketing, and branding. Coursework includes a blend of theoretical insights, quantitative areas of study, and practical application through case studies, guest lectures, and real-world projects. Students can also complete an industry internship.

“Luxury goods span a wide range of categories including high-end fashion apparel and accessories, fine jewelry, premium cosmetics, travel, and more,” notes LIM Provost Dr. Scott Carnz.

“While the MBA in Luxury Brand Management is new to LIM, our master’s students have been interning at some of the world’s best-known luxury brands for years, such as Dior, Hermes, Versace, and Giorgio Armani,” said Carnz. LIM also offers several other fashion business master’s programs, including a Master of Science (MS) degree in Consumer Analytics, an MS in Global Fashion Supply Chain Management as well as Master of Professional Studies (MPS) degrees in Fashion Marketing, Fashion Merchandising and Retail Management, and The Business of Fashion.
